The soundbar is equipped with two dome tweeters with a silk membrane and 12 watts each and two mid-range speakers with an aluminum membrane and 30 watts each. The subwoofer offers a decent 70 watts.

Edifier B8: studio quality soundbar
The Edifier B8 awakens the joy of playing with its powerful bass reproduction and virtual surround sound. The gaming soundbar is equipped with two dome tweeters with a silk membrane, which transform each 12 watts of power for the reproduction of highs as well as four mid-range speakers with an aluminum membrane with 30 watts each into an acoustic fireworks display. The subwoofer is equipped with an 8-inch bass driver and has an output of 70 watts, which creates a voluminous sound image. The loudspeakers are driven by three amplifier chips from Texas Instruments including their digital signal processing technology (DSP).

The subwoofer interacts with the soundbar wirelessly via a 5.8 GHz connection. There are various connections on the soundbar for connecting to the PC and other playback devices. This includes cinch inputs, a 3.5 mm jack socket, an optical SPDIF input (TOSLINK) and a COAX socket. There are also three HDMI sockets, one of which has an audio return channel (ARC). Bluetooth 4.1 can also be used to stream from smartphones and tablets.

The Edifier B8 also has a lot to offer visually: the soundbar and subwoofer are silver. The remote control allows switching between different input sources, changing the volume, starting and pausing and switching the Edifier B8 on and off.
