EVGA NU Audio 5.1 sound card, PCI-E x1 [712-P1-AN01-KR]

The NU was developed in cooperation with the British company Audio Note and offers two analog channels and digital 5.1 surround sound. EVGA NU Audio: High-end sound card for gamers
The EVGA NU Audio has been specially developed for use with headsets. There is a 6.3 millimeter jack output available. It features a dual-op-amp dual-op pedestal and interchangeable dual-amp with two TI LME49600 power amp ICs for extremely low impedance. This reduces distortion and improves transient response. The headphone output supports DSD (Direct Stream Digital) with an analog volume control via software.

The AKM AK5572 is used as ADC (analog-to-digital converter). This is 32-bit capable, has a dynamic performance of 121 decibels and is equipped with digital high and low pass filters. Input buffering at the line-in interface is provided by a TI OPA1652 dual operational amplifier with low-pass filtering and symmetrical control of the analog-to-digital converter by a TI THS4551 full differential amplifier. This ensures the best possible quality when using mixers and external microphone amplifiers.

The microphone input has a Cirrus Logic CS5346 amplifier. This supports a maximum dynamic range of 103 decibels and 24 bits / 192 kHz. The digital and optical SPDIF output supports 5.1 surround sound. EVGA uses exclusively high-quality capacitors from the Nichicon brand for its gaming sound card. The board is multilayered, silver plated and gold plated with insulated ground planes.

EVGA gives the NU audio sound card a silver-gray cover with RGB LED lighting with ten different modes. Power is supplied to the high-end gaming sound card via a SATA power connector.
