A TU104-410-A1 with 2,560 CUDA cores on the GeForce RTX 2070 Super is used as the graphics chip. The chip is manufactured using the 12 nm FinFET process and is based on the "Turing" GPU architecture. GDDR6-VRAM with a capacity of 8 GB is used as memory, while ray tracing and tensor computing cores provide fantastic light and shadow effects. In the new Super variant, the base and boost clock were increased and the shader units (Cuda cores) were increased from 2,304 to 2,560.

The graphics chip of the EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 Super FTW3 Ultra + clocks at the factory with a base clock of 1,605 MHz and a preset boost clock of 1,815 MHz. The latter is automatically activated via GPU boost if the graphics chip requires more power. The GDDR6 video memory clocks at a very fast 7,750 MHz (effectively 15,500 MHz), which is almost 75 percent faster than its direct predecessor and about ten percent faster than other RTX 2070 Super models. The capacity of 8 GB VRAM enables gaming with 4K resolution or in virtual reality. A triple fan design with RGB LED lighting is used as the cooler.
