Details

The housing of the reservoir is provided made of high quality black ABS polymer and towards the front side with acrylic gas and an aluminum cover. The reservoir provides anti-vortex inserts made of acrylic, which effectively prevent air bubbles can get into the circulation of cooling water again.

Three G1 / 4-inch ports on the back can serve as supply and flow and allow the installation of virtually any fitting G1 / 4-size. Another G1 / 4-Port is located on the ground and is ideally used as a drain. EK recommends Compression Fittings of EK-CSQ series. This unit also includes a G3 / 8-port on the lid, which serves as a fill port for filling the refrigerant.

The EK-D5 DBAY MX is equipped with anti-vibration rubber. These keep the reservoir or the optional pump quiet, where they dampen the vibrations that are transmitted to the housing. At the back of the D5 pump can be integrated, making it the perfect combination and it will also be very space-saving. A mounting system and a simple instruction manual are included.

The reservoir fits into all common housing and accepts the installation of two 5.25-inch bays to complete. Modifications to the PC case are not necessary. After attaching the included plugs of the water reservoir is completely airtight and watertight, so that no water can ausdringen. Especially in black housings, the EK-DBAY fits unobtrusively and does not affect the appearance of the case.
