Overview

EK Water Blocks has developed within a few years to become a leading provider of high quality watercooling components and convinces with a cooler palette, which offers several material combinations for each design. Performance and individual design are therefore weighted equally.

On the way to a full-range supplier in the watercooling segment represents EK again a number of new radiators before. Coolstream WE 540 models were baptized that connect once more high quality workmanship, performance and design together. Matt dark gray ensures a subtle look that is but refreshed by a stamped logo on the outer sides. A major difference from previous Radiator series of EK Water Blocks is probably the very flat design. The WE-Radiators all have a low height of just 35 mm. So they are also designed to intensify housing.

Other qualities are hidden from our attention to detail. This is already visible when looking at the scale: With 2 kg, this 540 version proposes to beech, which indicates a very generous use of copper. This in turn ensures good heat dissipation and therefore optimizes the performance.

The fin design was for optimum heat dissipation when using three or even six-card 180-mm standard fan (180 x 25 mm) optimized involved, so the radiator for both slow speeds in Silent systems, as well as for high speeds in performance systems. With its mounting option for single or double three 180 fans, this triple-radiator version for high performance systems an excellent cooling performance.

The integration into the circulation occurs with conventional G1 / 4 inch threads. The required connections are not included. There are, however, required for the screws that are used to install the fan in the radiator as well as for mounting the heat exchanger in the housing.
