Also, another core component of any water cooling, the radiator, there is of EKWB in different versions which - newly now come the Cool Stream SE models. These are shallower than the Radis with the abbreviations "PE" and "XE" and connect even more high-quality workmanship, performance and design. Matt black and a very straightforward design with little rounded elements ensures a subtly luxurious look. A major difference to previous radiator series from EK Water Blocks is the very low height of 26 mm, which enables together with the designed for active cooling rather high fin density of 22 FPI high cooling performance in tight spaces.
Other qualities are hidden mainly in detail. This is already visible when looking at the scale: 1.15 kg, this 480er version proposes to beech, which is due to the very generous use of copper for the fins and the tubes. By contrast, the atria are made of brass and aluminum and steel - at every point so that each ideal material was used.
The fin design was optimal heat dissipation optimized with 120-mm fans, so it offers the radiator both for slow speeds in Silent systems, but also for high speeds in performance systems. With its enormous surface and the mounting option for all four 120mm fans, this release provides maximum cooling capacity and can even cool most extensive systems.
The integration into the cycle is carried out with two G1 / 4-inch threads, which are provided for maximum connectivity compatibility with preloaded extenders. The required connections are not supplied. There are, however, at the required 5-mm and 30-mm screws that are used to install the required fan on the radiator as well as for installation of Radis in the housing.
