The modern PMW 3360 sensor from PixArt scans the background with up to 12,000 DPI and impresses with its high precision. A DPI switch is located in front of the mouse wheel of the Dream Machines DM1 S2 and enables rapid changes in sensor sensitivity. The DM1 S2 is designed for very fast mouse movements with up to seven meters per second. The sampling rate via USB is 1000 Hertz. In addition to a long service life, large glides offer good gliding properties. Replacement mouse is also included.

The mouse, which can be used with both hands due to its symmetrical design, has a total of six buttons: in addition to the two main buttons and the DPI button on the top, there are two thumb buttons for right-handed users and the clickable scroll wheel. The Dream Machines DM1 S2 is completely black. While the upper shell and the grip surfaces are matted, the mouse wheel and thumb buttons have a glossy finish.
