Perfect use of space & Consistently thought-out concept

With extremely compact dimensions of just 112 x 200 x 317 millimeters (W x H x D) of the chassis, the chassis is just 7.25 liters in volume - equivalent to the size of a shoe box or toaster. The graphics card is housed in a separate chamber behind the mini ITX motherboard and a total of almost every square meter inside the DAN Cases A4-SFX useful, while in ordinary tower cases usually unnecessarily a lot of space prevails. Smaller, a gaming PC can not be built!

High-quality aluminum housing made of Lian Li production

On the outside, the innovative miniature impresses with its ascetic design, with a makellose processing of the black anodized aluminum. The metal with a thickness of 1.5 millimeters is produced in cooperation with the housing specialist Lian Li and contributes decisively to a distinctive look with a chic hairline finish. Accordingly, on the puritan front side of the A4-SFX, next to the power button is an unaccompanied USB 3.0 port with an internal mainboard connection, and the interior itself is also limited to the space required for truly essential hardware. Due to the meticulously planned dimensions of the housing, the permissible maximum dimensions of all components must be exactly observed.

The clever cooling concept, which is completely spared with a housing fan, is also spartan, and the integrated cooling of the installed hardware is benefiting, which also saves valuable space at this point. In order to allow all components to breathe fresh air at all times, or to allow their waste heat to be removed without any problem, the two sides and the upper side of the A4-SFX have been provided with round air holes over a large surface area as well as long holes for optimal fresh air supply. In order to protect all ventilation openings effectively from dust, DEMCiflex provides optional DAN Cases A4-SFX dust filters.
Supports full-featured high-end graphics cards thanks to 3M riser module

Inside, a motherboard in the mini ITX format can be placed on the right side, on which a CPU with a maximum 4.8 cm high processor cooler can be kept at temperature. Flat top blower coolers are completely sufficient for cooling due to the ever decreasing TDP of modern processors. The PCI Express x16 slot of the motherboard is routed to the left-hand side of the chassis using a 3M riser adapter, which can be used to mount up to 295 millimeter-long gaming pixel accelerators.

As big as a game console, but massive more power

PCI Express lanes typically react sensitively to the extension loss, but the Riser card from 3M is a quality product that supports even higher data rates than the PCI Express 3.0 standard, and thus does not reduce speed to fear. Since graphics cards and mini-ITX motherboards can be installed back-to-back and possibly in contact, an insulating plastic foil is used as a protective shield between the two components and protects them effectively against short circuits. Daniel Hansen has also thought about the assembly and the installation of the hardware, unlike many other mini housings, has been surprisingly comfortable.

A detailed instruction manual in German and English illustrates clearly the sequence and procedure of the assembly. The power supply of the mini gaming system is guaranteed by a compact SFX or SFX-L standard, which draws in cold air from the top and blows out waste heat to the right side. Behind the front can be a 15-millimeter-high 2.5-inch data carrier, while under the power supply one (with PSU in the SFX-L format) to two (with PSU in the SFX format) another 2.5- SSDs / HDDs decoupled mounted in a drive frame. Mainboards with M.2 slots expand the drive capacities accordingly.
