The reason for this is the lack of suitable connections or the usually only small number of PWM connections.

The Cryorig L1 set from Cryorig can help. The kit contains two Y-splitter cables with 4-pin PWM connectors, which can be used to connect two 4-pin fans to a PWM socket. In addition to the function as a Y-cable, two normal 3-pin fans can also be connected to it without any problems. The cables are covered with a high-quality black sleeve to ensure very good protection.
