Cougar Vortex RGB HPB 120mm Cooling Kit with hydrodynamic plain bearing
The patented vortex fan blade design reduces turbulence and therefore noise levels while maintaining high performance. Due to the special bearing design and the surface structure of their hydrodynamic plain bearings, the oil is distributed evenly during operation so that adequate lubrication is ensured at all times. In contrast to simple slide bearings, the Cougar HDB bearings are also encapsulated so that no lubricating fluid is lost.

Cougar Vortex RGB HPB PWM fans are therefore exceptionally quiet and durable. Annoying bearing noise is prevented not only in the delivery state, but permanently. With more than 300,000 hours, the life expectancy is around ten times that of a plain bearing fan and is also significantly higher than that of ball bearing fans. To prevent the transmission of vibrations, all Vortex RGB HPB PWM also have vibration dampers.

Addressable RGB LEDs including RGB controller with remote control
With addressable RGB LEDs, the fans are equipped with the latest RGB technology. Thanks to digital control, each of the 18 LEDs installed in the dispersion ring can be independently illuminated. As a result, significantly more complex lighting effects are possible. The lighting is controlled either by a compatible mainboard with a digital 3-pin header or via the supplied Cougar Core Box, to which up to eight fans can be connected and configured via remote control.
