Compared to the 600M with which the 700M Superior shares the technical base, the mouse is distinguished by an even more extensive ergonomic adjustability. The weight can be adjusted with up to four additional weights of 4.5 grams each, and the palm rest can be adjusted in height - in addition it is also interchangeable. For exceptional stability, Cougar has donated the 700M Superior an aluminum chassis with which all components are fixedly connected - nevertheless, the weight is only around 110 grams.

Another feature is the rubberized surface, which, together with the aerodynamic design, provides a cool and dry hand surface, providing a comfortable and secure grip even in the fastest battles. The 700M Superior has a special 45 ° sniper button on the thumb rest, which can be operated by its special position without affecting the posture or the movement of the mouse. A sensible assignment of this button is the temporary reduction of sensor sensitivity. For further special activities, the 700M Superior has an additional fire button to the left of the left main button.

The 700M Superior has a total of eight programmable buttons with its mouse wheel, two main and two thumb buttons, a button behind the mouse wheel, and the Fire and Sniper buttons.
