Corsair RMX Series RMX850x Power Supply - 850 Watt [CP-9020180-EU]

Five models cover the entire power range from 550 to 1,000 watts continuous power. If you do not need a software interface like Corsair Link, you will get very similar technology with the RMX power supplies for a lower price.

Large fan ensures quiet cooling
High-quality technology in a classy-simple look with high functionality, that is the principle regarding the external design of the RMX. A large 135 mm fan provides sufficient cooling for the electronics and is also controlled depending on the heat development, with a rifle bearing (Rifle Bearing) provides for a continuous quiet and quiet operation. Below a power output of about 300 watts, the fan also does not rotate, so the Corsair power supply is semi-passive designed to work absolutely noiselessly at idle. Efficiency reaches at least 90 percent on average at 50 percent utilization, so it has been awarded the "80 Plus Gold" certificate.

Despite the lower price compared to HXi and RMi, Corsair does not save on the electronics: Thanks to DC-DC voltage conversion, voltage regulation is above all doubt. The output voltages are always close to the setpoint even in demanding scenarios such as full load or asymmetric load. The components are also based on quality: Only 105-degree electrolytic capacitors from Japanese brands and polymer solid capacitors are used. These are considered to be particularly durable. With 850 watts of total power and up to 100 percent power on the + 12-volt single-rail, the RMX 850x will provide even more demanding systems with a graphics card and dual GPU configurations with performance cards permanently and stably powered. In order to be able to provide this enormous achievement also to each device, the RM850x offers sufficient connections. All plugs are modularly designed as ribbon cables and are only connected to the power supply if necessary - free air flow for optimum cooling of all components. In addition to the 20 + 4-pin connector and the two 4 + 4-pin ports for the supply of motherboard and CPU are six 6 + 2-pin PCIe plugs for the graphics available. With ten SATA and eight 4-pole Molex and two floppy connectors, all systems in this performance class can be operated without adapter solutions.
