Quiet but efficient operation
The zero RPM fan mode and the 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency mean that the fan hardly has to spin at all at low and medium loads. Even when the HXi is under full load, the thermally controlled fans only spin as fast as they need to at the moment.

The reason why the HXi series is also quieter than most power supplies is because of the specially selected capacitors and other components that reduce coil whistling and other electronic noise to a minimum.

Easy installation
The fully modular, flat cable set allows for quick and easy installation. With the fan's self-test switch, you can even check that it is ready for operation before connecting the cable to the motherboard.
