The Corsair Carbide 270R Midi-Tower with Window has a very straightforward design optimized for a good airflow. All data storage is installed behind the mainboard tray and the renouncement of an external drive provides a barrier-free path for the airflow. The large mesh grille in the lid allows warm air to rise from the housing, but can be actively equipped with two 120 or 140 mm fans.

If you decide to install an all-in-one water cooling system to cool your CPU, you can mount a radiator up to 240 mm in the cover, while the front can accommodate 280 or 360 heat exchangers, while for classic tower coolers up to To 170 mm in height are possible. Corsair offers its own range of AiO water chillers, which are, of course, compatible with the Carbide 270R (e.g., some Corsair's Hydro models).

Up to 370 mm long gaming graphics cards can be installed in the Carbide 270R - also in the multi-GPU setup. The optimized airflow allows for a good cooling of the hardware and two pre-installed fans, which in the front is illuminated by LEDs red, lead cool air into the case and warm exhaust air.
