With the Hyper 212 LED, the manufacturer reflects on the elemental foundations that make up a good tower cooler: heatpipes, lamellar tower, 120 mm fan. The whole thing you construct from high quality materials and process it clean and out comes the Hyper 212 LED. The four 6 mm copper heatpipes are embedded directly in the bottom plate (DCH: Direct Contact Heatpipes), resulting in optimized heat transfer from the CPU to the tubes. These give off the waste heat on relatively close together aluminum slats. The advantage here is that in this way the cooling surface is increased, because many fins are layered in the cooling block.

On the other hand, a fan must be used, which builds up a correspondingly high static pressure, so that the air is forced through between the slats. The included 120 XtraFlo is capable of up to 1.7mmH2O. Due to its 4-pin PWM connection, it can be flexibly regulated and depending on the power requirement of the mainboard.
Quieter and more efficient fan
He has qualities from silent to high-flow. At 600 rpm, it runs with only 9 dB (A) noise emission. If the motherboard gives him the spurs, he shovels at max. 1,600 rpm just over 112 m³ / h. With his red LEDs, he sets not only himself, but also other hardware and the case in scene. If that's not enough, an additional optional 120mm fan can be attached to the back.

But even with just one fan, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 LED should be reliable and adequate for almost all processors on the LGA 1366, 1150, 1151, 1156, 1155 and 775 sockets from Intel as well as FM1, FM2, FM2 +, AM3 +, AM3, AM2 + and AM2 cool.
