The MasterCase MC500M from Cooler Master in detail
The MasterCase MC500M is designed to mount E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX motherboards. This housing has plenty of space in the interior and thus the possibility to accommodate up to three radiators. In addition to the classic slot on the back for a 120 or 140 mm heat exchanger, a 280/360 mm radiator can be installed in the front. The lid has a 240 mm radiator. To install a surge tank or pump, there is an appropriate mounting location on the front removable part of the power supply cover. However, if you do not use water cooling, the Cooler Master MasterCase MC500M also offers more than sufficient cooling potential.

In the front, a large 140mm fan already occupies one of the three slots. Alternatively, three 120 mm fans can be accommodated here. A 140 mm fan is already pre-installed on the back, while two 120 mm fans can be mounted in the lid. Dust filters on the bottom, front and lid protect the hardware inside the case.

Ample space for media
Internally, there are slots for two 3.5-inch drives in the drive cage, which is located under the power supply cover, in which of course 2.5-inch drives can be accommodated. The cage can also be removed to make room for the pump and expansion tank to clear custom loops. Above are two external bays for 5.25-inch drives, which can be replaced with an optional HDD cage. Underneath, another HDD cage is attached, which is already enclosed in the case. All in all, a maximum of ten 3.5-inch drives can be accommodated in the MC500M. For 2.5-inch drives, there is another place on the back of the motherboard tray.

A lot of sense for details
Behind the left side wall made of tempered glass, the classically furnished interior shows and convinces with fine detailed solutions. There is plenty of space for graphics cards, but it can be up to 412 millimeters long if there is no HDD cage in the way, otherwise the cards can be 296 millimeters long. The power supply is hidden by a panel for a tidy interior and cool air is sucked through dust filters in the front and bottom. An opening in the mainboard tray allows changing the cooler with the mainboard mounted.

The processing is very high quality and the room layout leaves room for a potent system with lots of hardware. The CPU cooler may be 190 mm high and also for the power supply, the MasterCase MC500M offers more than enough space even for very powerful specimens.
