BitFenix Nova Mesh SE: Powerful midi tower in black
This enclosure is a slightly modified version of the visually restrained but powerful Nova Mesh Midi Tower and once again focuses on air cooling. Because even in this Mesh-SE variant, the entire front is made of a close-meshed mesh grille made of metal to maximize airflow. Behind it is a layer of fine nylon fabric that serves as a dust filter. The front panel also features the typical BitFenix logo on the front. In addition, this variant has a side panel made of tempered glass and thus provides a view into the interior and the hardware installed there.

The front panel with the fine mesh grille perfectly combines the housing design with the requirement of fresh air access. The optics are not affected. On the contrary: the design looks timelessly elegant and as if from a single cast. The clear and closed lines not only look damn good, they also serve a purpose, because with the BitFenix Nova Mesh SE the dust and disturbing hardware noises the fight is announced.

Thanks to the modern design, the motherboard is installed at the top, the power supply at the bottom. This offers the advantage of a separate fresh air access for the power supply through the floor and thus a lower warm-up by other PC components. A dust filter protects the power supply from the ingress of dirt and the resulting overheating. A power supply cover hides the unsightly cable clutter.

Plenty of space for well-cooled hardware
A large recess in the motherboard tray allows easy and convenient installation of suitable CPU coolers. Expansion cards can be mounted using quickly removable screws. Two internal 2.5/3.5" slots are available in the modular HDD cage under the power supply cover. Without a drive cage, the possible length of the power supply increases from an already lush 190 to 200 mm. Two more 2.5-inch drives find their All in all, enough space for powerful full-size hardware, such as a graphics card with up to 315 mm.

For their cooling, in addition to the pre-installed 120 mm fan, two further 120 or two 140 fans can be installed on the front. In addition, another 120 fan is installed on the back. The two pre-installed fans - color-matched to the case - come from the Specter series with BitFenix, which are characterized by high performance and low noise. In addition, two additional 120mm fans have space on the lid. In total, this makes an impressive six 120mm fans, which ensure optimal cooling of the hardware installed inside.

Thanks to the fine mesh front and the dust filter on the lid, the interior remains clean. Of course, instead of the fans, appropriate radiators can be installed, on the front, for example, a 360 or a 280. At the top there is still a somewhat tight space for a 240 mm radi. For cable management, 23mm remains on the back of the motherboard tray. The I/O panel in the upper, front part of the lid is also sufficiently equipped, as it offers two USB 3.0 and two HD audio ports. The connections are complemented by a power and a reset switch.
