The chic Big Tower takes mainboards in the form factors E-ATX, XL-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX, whereby the mainboard tray can be adjusted flexibly according to the needs and individual requirements of the user. This means that it is completely height-adjustable and can also be installed on the left side of the housing for a newly defined airflow or an inverted optics. If necessary, it can even be completely removed and could serve as a benchtable. The ODD cage as well as the drive slots can therefore also be fully customized, so that the user gets the complete freedom of decision about the internal structure of the DarkBase Pro 900.

In addition to the modular configuration options, be quiet! the DarkBase Pro 900 takes up a maximum of two 5.25-inch, seven 3.5-inch, and / or fifteen 2.5-inch drives, the latter sharing the slots. The drives are installed without tools in the individual slots, which are completely decoupled via silicone anti-vibration rails and therefore prevent transmission of vibrations to the cages. In addition, the slots can be removed individually, thus enabling the option of an increased space offer for graphics cards or water cooling.

The space offer is also very generous for the rest of the hardware, as graphics cards can be installed up to a length of 325 mm. Without HDD slots, this slot expands to a whopping 470 mm. CPU coolers may be 185 mm high in the DarkBase Pro 900 and power supplies 150 - 184 mm long.
Noble design thanks to hard-glass side windows & LED lighting

The design of the be quiet! DarkBase Pro 900 remains as in the previous models with an elegant and chic look, which leaves a high-quality first impression. However, the stylish fully glazed side window made of tinted hard glass is a new addition, which allows an impressive view of the installed hardware. The closed front and lid, however, are covered by brushed aluminum. The sides are bordered by a white mesh strip, which not only serves the better ventilation, but also looks particularly cool. Like the predecessors, be quiet! on gadgety gaming optics and puts on an elegant appearance.

Such a case should, of course, be skilfully put on the scene, which is why, for this reason, freely positionable LED strips are part of the scope of delivery. The user can distribute these strips in the housing as desired and choose between five colors (white, red, green, blue-yellow) for the lighting.
Sophisticated cooling concept for air or water cooling

Three 140 mm SilentWings-3 PWM fans are already preinstalled in the DarkBase Pro 900, two on the front and one on the rear. The fans rotate at a maximum of 1,000 rpm and are particularly quiet thanks to a low-vibration motor, a long-lasting fluid dynamic bearing and a fan frame with funnel-shaped air inlets. However, the Airflow concept of the DarkBase Pro 900 Big-Towers also applies innovative noise-reducing air openings around the housing, which means that an even more effective air flow guide can be achieved. To further increase the silent factor, the enclosure also has complete insulation and decoupling elements on the mainboard tray, power supply tray and the drives.
