The power supplies from be quiet! have always been known for their high quality, for their good equipment and, above all, for their low operating noise. With this experience, the company has long been offering separate fans and coolers that continue the high-end claim. The models of the "Essential" series are particularly inexpensive offshoots, which can still convince with their high manufacturing quality and very strong performance.

The be quiet! Pure Rock Slim, for example, has a maximum of 120 watts of heat dissipation power and achieves this convincing result with its aluminum radiator, which is supplied with heat from the Intel or AMD processor via three heat pipes with a diameter of 6 mm. The not too bulky, 12.5 cm high Pure Rock Slim is compatible with the most popular current motherboards or sockets from AMD or Intel.

Since this CPU cooler is attached directly to the retention module of the motherboard without a back plate screw connection, it is fully compatible with the AMD Socket AM4 , which was launched in 2017 with the AMD Ryzen desktop processors, despite the changed hole spacing.

In addition to the incredibly wide compatibility and high performance, the Pure Rock Slim also impresses with its excellent workmanship, which experienced hardware screwdrivers immediately notice. The slats are perfectly lined up one above the other and are also rounded off for the eye by an aluminum end plate with "be quiet!" Even the copper heat pipes have end caps for a uniform look.
