The ATH-PDG1a comes with open, black-silver earcups, which means that the sound insulation from inside to outside and outside to inside is weaker, but overall sound is much more spatial and therefore more natural. The ultra-soft, oval ear cushions enable long gaming sessions without tiring your ears. The lightweight design also contributes to the high level of comfort, thanks to which the ATH-PDG1a weighs just 225 grams without a cable.

The Audio-Technica ATH-PDG1a offers gamers an impressive gaming experience. The light aluminum housing in open construction with honeycomb structure ensure a natural sound reproduction. Premium drivers with a diameter of 40 mm, which are operated with a CCAW voice coil, are responsible for the unbeatable sound quality with outstanding clarity.

For crystal-clear speech reproduction, the ATH-PDG1a has a boom microphone, which has a omnidirectional polar pattern and can be flexibly aligned for optimal positioning. So there is no misunderstanding with the team-mates even in hot firefights. For maximum comfort, the ATH-PDG1a has a mute button for the microphone and an easily accessible volume control.

As a special feature, the headphone cable with microphone can be removed. The Audio-Technica ATH-PDG1a can be converted for portable use and connection to a smartphone. For this purpose, the headphone cable is simply replaced by the supplied smartphone cable. This also has an integrated microphone and a control button for smartphone control. The ATH-PDG1a is connected to a PC, console, smartphone or tablet using gold-plated 3.5 mm stereo jack plugs. The cable length is 1.2 m and can be extended by a further 2 m thanks to the supplied extension cable.
