The AT2020 USB + 16-millimeter condenser capsule is enclosed in a solid metal frame and multi-stage pop-up protection. The kidney-shaped directional characteristic makes it particularly suitable for recording individual speakers or instruments. On the front there are two volume controls for the control of the monitor and the headphone output.

The headphone port is direct-monitoring-capable and thus allows a delay-free listening during voice recording. Its compact and robust design and practical carrying case make the microphone the perfect companion for on the go. Another useful feature is the small tripod with which the microphone can be easily adjusted. The included adapter allows the microphone to be mounted on any other 3/8-inch stand.
