Every detail has been analyzed, optimized and tested in order to achieve perfection in the areas of cooling performance, mounting and functional scope. The result is not only a CPU cooler that sets new standards in cooling performance - a whole model family covers a range of color and equipment variants. One of the world's first in CPU water chillers is the VARIO models a deformable base plate during operation - never before a CPU cooler could be adjusted to the CPU in running mode for optimal fit to the CPU. The models with VISION module are equipped with powerful electronics: a high-resolution OLED display, integrated water temperature measurement and USB interface are just three examples from the range of functions.
Cooling floor with microstructure
The cooler base of the cuplex kryos NEXT is equipped with an extremely fine microstructure, the structure width is less than 200 μm. The coolant flows centrally to the microstructure via a flat nozzle integrated in the cooler housing and is discharged from there in two directions. Depending on the cooling system, the cooler base is made of copper, nickel-plated copper or .925 sterling silver.
The support system of the cuplex kryos NEXT consists of massive stainless steel plates with a thickness of 2.5 mm, into which nickel-plated spring cups are pressed. Thumbscrews and springs fasten the cooler to the mainboard, when installed, the suspension system looks very tidy due to the spring cups and the low overall height. All brackets have a defined stop for optimum contact pressure and force distribution. The thumbscrews can be installed by hand, in addition an internal hexagon drive allows easy assembly.
The cooler versions for sockets 115x and AM3 are equipped with a backplate with silicone cover, which stabilizes the mainboard. For socket 2011, a backplate is already part of the mainboard processor socket, an additional backplate is not required here.
For optimum performance, every cuplex kryos NEXT provides excellent heat transfer paste. It is about 0.5 grams of Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, packaged for easy use in a syringe. Also a plastic spatula for application is included. The paste has a high thermal conductivity and is distributed very well between CPU and water cooler due to its low viscosity during assembly. The supplied quantity is sufficient for approx. Five assemblies of the cooler.
VISION: Integrated electronics
The VISION variants of the cuplex kryos NEXT are equipped with a microprocessor control and OLED graphics display. Key features include:
Water temperature measurement integrated in the cooler

USB interface to the PC
Aquabus interface for data exchange with an aquaero 5 or 6
Configurable display pages in the display
Display of various hardware data in the display via aquasuite software, eg current processor load
The acrylic versions of the cuplex kryos NEXT with VISION are also equipped with an RGB LED for lighting which can be temperature-controlled or controlled via USB.
