This is one of the most popular surge tank ever, which adorns countless Wakü systems with its tubular shape and diverse material versions. However, the German water cooling specialist aqua computer also offers other liquid reservoirs - such as the Aquabox.
This expansion tank has now been completely redesigned and designed for 5.25 inches. As usual, the quality of workmanship and functionality are blatant and blameless, which at the same time results in an excellent overall visual impression. The Aquabox is designed for installation in a 5.25-inch slot, the front should preferably be directly visible.
Then the water level can be controlled at any time and admire the elegant design. For this purpose, the black Delrin base body in this version has a transparent acrylic glass front over which a curved stainless steel cover is once again mounted. Thus, the expansion tank forms an elegant eye-catcher.
Even more impressive, however, is the functionality. Five threads are available, two of which are mounted on the top and three on the back. The multitude of possible connections opens up the widest possible expansion options right up to filling systems and lighting mods. The scope of supply includes three sealing plugs, with which the unused openings can be sealed.
The liquid is flushed at the inlet over the inside of the windshield. This effectively prevents the window from misting up. At the same time the amount of water is adjustable via adjusting screws. The Aquabox can either be screwed into the 5.25-inch bay or, if necessary, magnetically held with an optional kit to quickly pull the expansion bin out of the slot at any time.
