Usually this value is only indirectly recorded via the pump speed on the control side - but what this has for real effects can not be deduced from this. In order to check the actual water flow, separate measuring instruments are available in the cooling circuit. These also offer the advantage that faults (such as blockages) are detected quickly and reliably.
Aqua computer also presents a solution that has a particularly low flow resistance and is therefore also suitable for high-flow systems. In addition, the sensor has been incorporated into a noble housing and therefore convinces with high quality and good optics.
The case is made of high-strength Delrin. On the sides there are G1 / 4 inch threads. Connections are not included. Due to the symmetrical structure, the flow direction is possible on both sides. For attachment, the sensor can be screwed to the bottom. The top was decorated with an engraved stainless steel plate and also houses the port for reading the speed.
The sensor is compatible with a wide range of products from the manufacturer aqua computer: the multi-function control aquaero, the pump control poweradjust, the aquastream XT USB Ultra pump and various models of the external Wakü aquaduct. From 40 liters per hour, the sensor delivers reliable data.
Note: The calibration value must be set to 169 pulses per liter for an accurate measurement.
