Overview

Up to now, radiators have been rather boring products that differed mainly in their size (combined with the number and size of fans). On the other hand, we haven't seen any real innovations for many years. Until now! With the Airplex Revolution, Aqua Computer's Wakü professionals dared to experiment with complete production in Germany. The main aim was to replace the fluctuations in quality of the radiators usually manufactured in Asia with consistently high quality.

With the know-how gained, the idea of a completely new development matured, which was to combine many innovative approaches. This laid the foundation stone for the Airplex Modularity System (AMS), which is now leaving the German factory. As the name suggests, the central idea is modularity. The consistency with which this approach has been implemented is unprecedented, exceeds all expectations and everything that has come before.
This turns the Airplex modularity system into a universal radiator solution for water cooling. First of all, it is almost unlimitedly expandable (several radiators next to each other, one above the other, in front of each other), so that the radiator surface can simply grow with a system expansion or conversion and a completely new radiator is not necessary. Of course, there are different radiator sizes for 140 and 120 mm fans to choose from.

In addition, there is even a more powerful premium version with copper fins and an output for double circuits. In addition, Aqua Computer offers various attachments with integrated pumps and feet for external use. In short: There shouldn't be a more versatile and functional radiator range at the moment.

Also to be emphasized are the precise manufacturing and the high quality workmanship. In addition, no different metals come into contact with the water (neither tin nor aluminum) - only copper. There is also no solder residue. In addition, the radiators have a comparably compact design (for higher housing compatibility), do not use paint for better heat transfer, can be completely dismantled for cleaning, are approved for high pressure (0.8 bar) and optimized for slow and therefore quiet fans.

One of the central secrets for the extreme modularity is the terminal of the AMS radiators, which is milled from the heat-resistant special plastic Delrin. This is where the 21 copper pipes flow and are connected via an internal sewer network. There are six G1 / 4-inch holes on the outside of the terminal. These are slightly recessed in order to be able to connect another terminal from an AMS radiator with a suitable adapter.
To mechanically connect the terminals, there are triangular recesses at all four corners for appropriate mounting plates. This means that additional radiators can be docked on all four outer sides. If they are connected to the narrow sides, it is a series connection (the water flows through both of them one after the other), if the radiators are connected to the long sides of the terminal, it is a parallel connection (the water flows through both at the same time). Thus there is a lot of scope for variations and experiments.

In addition, other Delrin modules are offered to stack radiators on top of each other and to mount pumps and expansion tanks directly on the radiator in a space-saving manner. This is the more powerful luxury version in 420 size, which is designed for three 140 fans. In contrast to the normal edition, the lamellas are made of copper, which enables even better heat conduction and also ensures a superb look.

Sealing plugs for the four threads that are not required are included in the scope of delivery. Connections must be ordered by yourself according to the hose size used. For connections with a large diameter, an adapter is necessary due to the recessed position of the thread.
Note: The scope of delivery of the AMS radiators does not include any mounting materials for the housing (e.g. mounting panel and screws) or feet. Depending on the model and requirements, these must be purchased separately and can be found on our website under item numbers WARA-237 to WARA-249 or WAZU-215/217/219. Various assembly materials are also available for a combination of AMS elements: WAZU-216 to WAZU-222.
