Antec DF500: Midi Tower for demanding gamers
The Antec DF500 Midi Tower has many features for gamers at a very fair price. The large interior space accommodates several up to 380 mm long graphics cards and can be used as a basis for high-end gaming systems. Since the hard drive cage has moved to the bottom and no optical drive is required, the airflow in the case is very good.

To curb the possibly overclocked CPU, the tower offers space for up to 165 mm high CPU cooler. For AiO CPU coolers or even a complete custom water cooling, the case in the front has the possibility to install a 360 mm radiator.
Design and ventilation of the DF500
Partly responsible for the superb airflow in the DF500 is the mesh-lined lid and the side ventilation slots on the extremely stylish transparent front of acrylic glass, behind which, for example, stylish three 120 mm RGB LED fans can find space. Alternatively, two 140mm fans can be mounted on the front panel. The lid also has three 120 mm or two 140 mm fans. At the back there is already a 120mm fan pre-installed. Removable dust filters are available on the lid, on the front and on the bottom.

The built-in hardware can be put on display through the acrylic glass left-hand side, with the power supply and HDDs hidden under the power supply cover. The drive cage can accommodate two 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch disks, and two additional SSDs can be installed behind the motherboard tray. Again, two SSDs can be installed next to the motherboard.

The I / O panel houses two USB 3.0 ports and audio ports. Under its cover has a power supply with a length of 200 mm. For an enclosure in this price range, the Antec DF500 and its features are a real bargain!
