Reinvent the tube

Reinvent the tube
The Eisbecher series consists of 20 different reservoirs which differ in the type of application, the size and the exterior. Among these there are ten expansion tanks made of 99% acrylic glass - this is unique! The main difference, however, is the function of the different bases.

Essential components

Bubble Down
This is located at the very bottom of the expansion tank and effectively prevents the formation of suction and vortices, which prevents air bubbles from being sucked in.

Lighttower Standpipe
The "Lighttower" effect creates an astounding visual experience within every watercooling system. The Eisbecher supports this in two different ways: fluid coming from the bottom and coming from the top. The water is being led through the standpipe to the bottom or to the top where it splashes out of eight evenly distributed holes at the end of the pipe to the inner wall of the reservoir. This interesting looking water feature is the so-called light tower effect.

Stand
The known feet from the "Eisdecken" are also used here and give every combination a firm stand.

Brackets
Two brackets are installed above and below the pipe for fastening in the housing. In these brackets there are holes at the distance of a 120 or 140 fan. However, if the container is not to be mounted on fan locations, the brackets can be reduced to the width of the container and three M4 threads per bracket are available for attachment. Even if the brackets are not in use, they can be easily removed. This holder can be found on all 20 containers.

Lighting module
The lighting modules consist of plexi and enable the lighting with a 5mm LED. These modules can be installed into all 1/4" holes. They are being used in the lid and occasionally in the socket of the reservoir. This facilitates a unique way to your personalised lighting effects.

Material
All models of the reservoir are available in acetal and plexi. So there is something for everyone.

Measurements
All reservoirs are available in two different sizes: the 150mm version and the 10cm bigger 250mm version. The smaller reservoir comes with only one standpipe coming from the bottom because of its size and the bigger reservoir comes with two: one coming from the top and the other one from the bottom.

The Eisbecher DDC
The Eisbecher for the Laing DDC pump leaves no options unused. The pump is easily installed with four screws at the bottom. For an optimal overall picture, Alphacool recommends using the Alphacool Metal bottom for the Laing DDC. There are two 5mm holes for the LEDs in the plexi version and the lighting module is within the lid to sustain a lighting from the top. Standpipe and Bubble Down both do an excellent work in this model as well. The fastening happens through either the mountings or through the bases that are included in the delivery. There are even threads in the socket of the pump should there be a free space at the 3,5" drive bay (pump decoupling with M4 inner thread and outer thread needed - Art. 52007).

Included in delivery:
4x M4x25mm screw
8x M4x8mm screw
4x M4 nut
2x base
1x allen key 2,5mm

Measurements 150mm Version:
Measurements incl. mounting without base (LxWxD): 157 x 136 x 88mm
Measurements without mounting incl. base (LxWxD): 202 x 87 x 88mm
Diameter of the Plexitube: 60mm
Capacity: 180ml

Notice:
In order to use the intake from the top, a G1 / 4 ”extension piece is necessary (article 1011183-1011186), since the screw thread is embedded a few mm into the lid and many compression fittings will not be able to be screwed in .
