Details

The Alptunnel fulfills two purposes at the same time, namely once a decoupling of the built-up, optional device, on the other hand, the passive cooling of the hard disk.

Both are important criteria for a quiet and long operating a large storage medium. The hard drive is (both with 1.97 cm and 2.57 cm height) to the detailed instructions (also German) placed in the context of black anodized aluminum and fixed.

Now its heat is absorbed by Alptunnel and released into the ambient air in the drive bay of the chassis. The frame is secured by rubber screws in 5.25-inch bay, the screws engage in this turn decoupling elements, whereby the transmission of vibrations to the housing is effectively reduced.

By Alpenfohn Alptunnel the computer is so quiet and the hard disk remains cooler.
