The glacier water 280 of Alpenföhn has been optimized for high performance and a quiet operation. For this, the 27 mm thick aluminum radiator, the sophisticated construction of the pump unit and the two 140 mm Wing Boost 3 ARGB fan.

The two-chamber design of the pump unit lowers the noise emission and additionally increases performance and service life. The base plate made of copper waits with large-area microchannels, which ensures fast heat output to the cooling fluid. The pump works between 1,200 and 2,550 rpm and is thus equipped for the silent operation as well as for overclocking projects. It achieves a maximum volume of only 17.8 dB (A).

Together with the PWM-controlled 140mm fans of type Wing Boost 3 ARGB, a quiet operation is guaranteed at maximum cooling performance. The fans operate in a speed range of 500 to 2,000 rpm and transport up to 175.6 m³ / h of air with up to 2.85 mmH20 static pressure.
Chic design: ARGB and interchangeable logos
In addition to the strong performance, the glacier water 280 also scores through its elegant appearance. All parts are completely kept in black. The digitally addressable RGB lighting in the fans and the pump housing comes as particularly good. The lighting is connected to the mainboard via 3-pin RGB (5V) and synchronized via software with the entire setup. Alternatively, it can also be controlled with the enclosed remote control.

As an optical highlight, the logo plate of the radiator is rotatable and the orientation can be adjusted in 90 ° increments of the mounting alignment of the cooling.
