The Newton NE housing from Akasa was developed for selected compute and board elements of the eighth and eleventh generation. The small housing can be used either lying flat or directly on the VESA mounts of the monitor. Specially tailored to the boards in question, it is very space-saving and, above all, has a flat design, but in addition to these purely practical aspects, it also has a very elegant look on the table or behind the monitor.

A front made of brushed aluminum makes the black Akasa Newton NE a restrained yet stylish contemporary, which also fits inconspicuously into any hi-fi landscape as an HTPC housing. The front is only broken through by two USB port openings, two LED openings and the power button. On the back there are matching cutouts for numerous connections as well as two openings for WLAN antennas.

The top and outer edges are almost completely provided with aluminum cooling fins, which makes the point that the housing itself is the cooler here and does not require any fan. This means that the system in the Akasa Newton NE works completely silently. For this, the CPU and a contact surface of the housing come into direct contact. The waste heat is given off to the surrounding elevator via the large cooling fins of the housing.

Thermal paste is included for ideal heat transfer. In addition, there are VESA mounting screws, mainboard screws and rubber feet in the scope of delivery (external power supply must be purchased separately!).
