Details

The VR panel was designed by Akasa to retrofit older enclosures with the practical front connectors for a VR system such as the HTC Vive. The advantage is that the connections can be reached quickly and comfortably without a big fiddling at the back of the housing to connect a VR glasses.

The two USB 3.0 ports on the front panel are each connected via a cable to two free USB 3.0 ports on the mainboard, while the HDMI port is connected directly to the graphics card. If the graphics card you are using does not have internal USB 3.0 ports or an internal HDMI port, the cable must be routed through openings in the enclosure (for example, PCI shield, tubing).
