Details
The BattleHawk is a mid-size tower that combines a competitive price with exceptional design and features. In version 2, Aerocool donated a power supply cover to the case and also removed the drive cage to make room for more PCIe expansion cards. Aerocool has left the great features like the window as well as the multimedia card slots and fan control on the I / O panel.
The features of the Aerocool Battlehawk V2 at a glance:
Stylish and lightweight Midi-Tower by Aerocool

The Aerocool Battlehawk V2 in detail
With the white Version 2 BattleHawk, the manufacturer continues to rely on a design that clearly reminds one of the head of a bird of prey, especially in the oblique view. The front and the lid are very aerodynamic, but a transparent element in the lower part of the front reaches down to the side walls and creates a beak, while the large window in the left side wall reminds of an eye. Both side walls are symmetrically slightly bulged, which benefits both the design and the space in the interior for hardware and cable management. The upper part of the front hides behind a front flap, the shafts for externally accessible drives. In addition to an air outlet in the back and the power and reset buttons, the top also houses the modern I / O panel, which is easily accessible thanks to the practical placement. This is richly equipped and offers a two-channel fan control, a card reader for all standard SD and microSD card variants, one audio input and output, one USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports.
A special detail on the BattleHawk V2 is the red-lighted fan, which, unlike most housings, does not sit directly behind a mesh grille, but behind the tinted window in the lower part of the front - making the lighting look even better. The air inlets are smaller mesh surfaces laterally and below it. Adequate ventilation of all hardware components is provided by a total of up to five 120 mm fans, including two on the front, which initially suck in cold air - a copy with red lighting is pre-installed here as standard. The warm exhaust air from the inside of the housing is then transported away by a likewise pre-installed 120 mm fan and two optional 120 mm fans in the lid, while the ATX power supply is mounted completely decoupled from the rest of the air circuit at the bottom and thus spared. In addition, the air inlet of the power supply is protected by a dust filter.
With the outer dimensions of a midi tower, the BattleHawk V2 has a space inside that resembles a big tower - ATX motherboards, long power supplies, lots of drives and - especially important for gaming PCs - long graphics cards can easily fit inside the case. Behind the front flap there is a slot for a 5.25-inch drive. The power supply cover skilfully hides cables and power supply and also a HDD cage, in which three 3.5-inch drives find space. Above that is still a mounting option for a 92 mm fan. On the motherboard tray behind the front two 2.5-inch drives can be screwed. In the seven expansion slots, the built-in cards can be up to 397 mm long - more than enough space for each graphics card, or even two, if used on dual-slot models. CPU coolers may be up to 155 mm high, and the use of 120 or 240 mm AIO water cooling would also be conceivable here.
