The FRITZ! Box 6660 Cable from AVM delivers wireless speeds of up to 2,400 Mbit / s thanks to MIMO via the 802.11ax standard. At the same time, the router provides 600 Mbit / s on the 2.4 GHz frequency band. In addition, the WLAN router can be integrated in a mesh or as a repeater with other routers from AVM, thus enabling uninterrupted access to the wireless network even in larger buildings.

The FRITZ! Box 6660 Cable, designed for office or home use, shines with additional security functions, such as secure remote access via VPN with IPSec as well as a professional firewall including packet inspection and port sharing. Of course, WLAN connections are encrypted with secure WPA2 + WPA3 and the modern Internet protocol IPv6 is also supported.

Mature firmware with many functions
The FRITZ! Box 6660 Cable has an integrated VPN server. Regardless of where the user is, they can access the secure FRITZ! Box 6660 Cable VPN server over the Internet and access services such as media players or shared files from anywhere in the world as if they were at home. The FRITZ! Box 6660 Cable already supports IPv6 and is therefore optimally designed for the future in the exclusively IPv6-supported Internet. Furthermore, a mixed operation of IPv4 & IPv6 is supported; thus there are no compatibility problems with existing networks.

With the FRITZ! Box 6660 Cable it is also possible to control printers, scanners and multifunctional devices centrally via USB without a PC or server having to be switched on for 24 hours. The router contains a full-fledged print server on which all computers in the network can print or scan at the same time.
