Perfect for use as a media server
The FRITZ! Box 4040 is particularly suitable for distributing video and audio content. Even streaming IPTV content from the Internet router through the FRITZ! Box 4040 to the television works very well. Images, music and videos from storage media connected to the USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 port of the FRITZ! Box can be played on UPnP-AV compatible receivers (HD TVs, stereo systems). Or a USB printer can be made available to the entire network. Another option is to connect a UMTS / HSPA / LTE stick there and establish a direct connection to the Internet.
