The TUF Gaming B560M-PLUS in detail
The TUF Gaming B560M-PLUS is a Micro-ATX motherboard with an Intel B560 chipset and provides a total of two PCIe x16 slots and one PCIe x1 slot for expansion cards. The upper slot is connected directly to the CPU with a total of 16 lanes and supports PCIe 4.0. For CPUs of the 10th core generation, the slot is downward compatible with PCIe 3.0. The lower PCIe x16 slot for expansion cards is electrically connected to the chipset with PCIe 3.0 via four lanes. The PCIe x1 slot also supports PCIe 3.0.

random access memory
Up to 128 GB DDR4 memory can be operated in four DIMM slots in dual-channel mode. The board supports RAM speeds of 3,200 MHz natively, clock rates of up to 5,000 MHz are possible via overclocking.

Drives
The TUF Gaming B560M-PLUS offers two M.2 slots for SSDs. The upper slot is connected directly to the CPU via PCIe 4.0 and only works in connection with an Intel Core CPUs of the 11th generation; this slot cannot be controlled for CPUs of the 10th generation. The lower slot is via PCIe 3.0 shares the bandwidth with the SATA_2 connector. In SATA mode, the SATA_2_connection is deactivated. Six SATA 6G connections are also available for additional SSDs, hard disks and optical drives.

USB, network and sound
With HDMI 2.0b and DisplayPort 1.4a, the I / O panel provides a total of two video outputs for image output via the processor's iGPU. A USB 3.2 type C port, two USB 3.1 type A ports, two USB 3.0 type A and four USB 2.0 ports are available for gaming peripherals. The audio output is via five 3.5 mm jack plugs and a TOSLINK socket, which are connected to the onboard sound chip ALC897. A LAN port with a maximum of 2.5 Gbit / s is available to establish a connection to the Internet.

design
The elaborate cooler design with integrated RGB lighting ensures an appealing look. Thanks to the subtle color scheme, the yellow color accents come into their own. The RGB lighting can be synchronized with other compatible RGB components via the ASUS Aura Sync. Two RGB and two ARGB headers are available for this.
