The ASUS STRIX X470-I Gaming is a motherboard in the compact Mini-ITX format and has a fast x16 PCI Express 3.0 slot for graphics cards. The two RAM banks hold up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory with a clock rate of up to 2,933 megahertz and can even handle clock rates of up to 3,466 MHz via the OC.

The Socket AM4 motherboard provides two M.2 slots with PCIe connectivity. M.2 SSDs connected via four PCI Express 3.0 lanes, in conjunction with the NVM Express Advanced Protocol (NVMe), support data transfer rates of up to 32 Gbps, up to eight times faster than SATA-6G HDDs. There are two USB 3.1 ports on the ASUS STRIX X470-I Gaming I / O panel. USB 3.1 or USB 3.1 Gen 2 achieves maximum speeds of 10 Gbit / s per port.
