The ASUS STRIX H370-I GAMING Mini-ITX motherboard for Intel Core 8000 series processors has a PCIe x16 slot connected to the chipset with a full 16 lanes. Up to 32 GB RAM can be operated in the two DIMM slots for DDR4 RAM in fast dual-channel mode. RAM modules up to a 6666 MHz memory clock are supported by the Coffee Lake CPUs.

Furthermore, the motherboard offers two M.2 slots, which are each connected via four or two PCIe 3.0 lanes to the chipset and support the extremely fast NVMe SSDs. The NVMe protocol allows a data transfer rate of almost 4 GB / s. This makes M.2 PCIe SSDs up to eight times faster than SATA 6G SSDs!
