The navigation graphics chip of the ASUS Radeon RX 5500 XT ROG Strix O8G clocks in gaming mode with a maximum boost clock of 1,845 MHz, while the base clock is 1,607 MHz. The game clock of 1,737 MHz indicates the nominal average clock under load that is present during gaming. In OC mode, the values increase to TBA / 1,737 / 1,865 MHz (base / game / boost clock). The 8 GB GDDR6 video memory clocks at 7,000 MHz (effectively 14,000 MHz) and is connected to the Navi chip via a 128-bit memory interface. To ensure that the graphics chip clocks as high as possible, a cooler design with a total of 28 cm and two fans is used, which occupies two slot covers in the housing.
