ASUS ROG Z118: For compact mini-ITX systems with high performance
The particularly compact ASUS ROG Z11 offers the option of installing a 120/140 millimeter fan on the bottom, two 140/120 fans on the lid and two 120mm fans on the front. In this way, air can enter the case from below and in front and is transported upwards, which is forced by the resulting negative pressure in the case. Air inlets on the right side part and in front of all fan slots are provided with removable dust filters.

Given the small size of the case, it is surprising that CPU coolers with a maximum height of 130 millimeters are supported. Those who prefer water cooling can install a 240 millimeter radiator on the front. There is also space on the power supply cover for a pump and reservoir combination for custom loops.

Space for drives and components
Main boards in Mini-ITX or the slightly larger Mini-DTX format can be attached to the mainboard tray. The mainboard is mounted vertically, the connections point to the lid and are hidden by an easily removable cover. The mainboard tray is attached at an 11 ° angle. On the one hand, this has advantages for cooling and, on the other hand, increases the space for cable management to up to 40 mm. There is also plenty of space for graphics cards with a maximum length of 320 millimeters. The ASUS ROG Z11 is suitable for models with a height of around 3 slots.

Inside the case there is space for a power supply unit in conventional ATX format or compact SFX standard. A 2.5 / 3.5-inch mounting space and four additional slots for 2.5-inch drives are available for data carriers. On the left side, covers ensure that the power supply unit and cables remain hidden and remain invisible thanks to the tempered glass side panel. The RGB-illuminated ASUS ROG logo is emblazoned on the power supply cover and can be exchanged, for example with its own logo. Another illuminated logo is located on the front of the case. In the optional lying position, the front becomes the top.

A pre-installed controller is located on the back of the mainboard tray, via which the digitally addressable lighting of the two logos and three additional RGB components can be connected. The lighting can then be controlled either via a switch on the I / O panel or via an appropriately equipped ASUS mainboard via Aura Sync. Up to six PWM fans can also be connected to the controller. There are also two USB 2.0 headers installed, to which, for example, the two ports installed on the I / O panel can be connected. In addition to the mandatory power button and a reset button, the I / O panel also offers a combined 3.5 mm jack socket and two USB 3.0 ports of type A and a USB 3.1 port of type C.
