The ASUS ROG Strix B560-I Gaming Wi-Fi is an Intel B560 motherboard in mini-ITX form factor and provides a PCIe x16 slot for expansion cards. This is connected directly to the CPU with a total of 16 lanes and supports PCIe 4.0.

random access memory
The two DIMM slots support up to 64 GB DDR4 memory in dual-channel mode. The B560 chipset natively supports clock rates of up to 3,200 MHz. Using OC, the ROG Strix B560-I Gaming Wi-Fi also enables RAM kits to be operated up to 5,333 MHz.

Drives
The ROG Strix B560-I Gaming Wi-Fi offers two M.2 slots for fast NVMe SSDs. One of them is connected directly to the CPU with 4 lanes and supports PCIe 4.0. However, it only works when using a Rocket Lake S CPU. The other M.2 slot is connected to the chipset via PCIe 3.0 and also works with 10th generation Intel CPUs. Four SATA 6G connections are available for additional SSDs, hard disks and optical drives.

Caution! The top M.2 slot (M.2_1) only works in combination with Intel Core CPUs of the 11th generation "Rocket Lake-S" and is deactivated for processors of the 10th generation "Comet Lake".

USB, network and sound
On the I / O panel, the ROG Strix B560-I Gaming Wi-Fi has a USB 3.2 connection (type C) with 20 Gbit / s and a USB 3.1 connection (type A) with 10 Gbit / s and six USB 2.0 ports. In addition, the mainboard is equipped with a WLAN and Bluetooth module (Intel AX201) as well as a LAN port with 2.5 GBit / s (Realtek with ASUS LANGuard) for fast data transfers. The built-in sound chip S1220A audio codec ensures rich 7.1 surround sound. The integrated noise suppression removes background noises during voice input via the microphone and during playback via headphones in order to produce the clearest possible sound.

The ASUS ROG Strix B560-I Gaming Wi-Fi impresses with its elegant design with black heat sinks. Visually, the mainboard comes into its own in combination with the integrated RGB lighting. With the Asus Aura software, the RGB lighting can be adjusted and synchronized with other compatible products.
