ASUS is expanding its power supply portfolio with its ROG Strix series. The completely modular power supplies in ATX format not only offer plenty of efficiency with 80 PLUS Gold certification, they are also equipped with large ROG heatsinks and a 135-millimeter fan with semi-passive mode. Magnetic stickers allow you to customize the power supply design.

In order to deliver the energy with high efficiency, ASUS relies on tried and tested technology, such as 105° high-performance capacitors from Japan and largely wireless internal connections. The ROG Strix power supplies thus ensure stability and, above all, reliability. ASUS has paid particular attention to the cooling elements. Thanks to their unique design, the ROG heatsinks cool a surface area that is twice as large. This not only means that the fans start up much later, but also protects the installed components and ensures a longer service life.

The 135-millimeter fan with double ball bearings can be switched to a semi-passive mode using a button on the back of the power supply. The so-called 0dB technology uses sensors that ensure that the fans are switched off as quickly as possible when energy consumption is low. This is also done thanks to the cooling elements used. The power supply then runs completely silently up to 40 percent TDP.

Extensive connections, completely modular
The ROG Strix power supplies supply energy via dedicated connections. The power supply comes with a 24-pin ATX cable that can be connected to the respective mainboard. For the additional power supply of the mainboard, the power supply comes with two cables with two 4+4-pin connectors. Four 6+2-pin connectors can supply power to graphics cards, and five SATA and six 4-pin Molex connectors are provided to supply power to data storage devices or other peripherals.
