The ASUS PRIME Z490M-PLUS in detail
The ASUS PRIME Z490M-PLUS mainboard in the ATX form factor offers two PCIe-x16 slots and two PCIe-x1 slots for plug-in and expansion cards. One x16 slot is connected with a full 16 lanes, the other with four lanes. As a mid-range motherboard, the ASUS PRIME Z490M-PLUS also supports multi-GPU setups via AMD Crossfire / XDMA. A header for RGB strips enables the connection of further RGB LED components.

Up to 128 GB DDR4 RAM in dual-channel mode can be used in the four DIMM slots.
