The graphics chip of the ASUS GeForce RTX 2070 Turbo 8G EVO clocks from the factory with a base clock of 1,410 MHz and a preset boost clock of 1,620 MHz. The latter is automatically activated via GPU boost if the graphics chip requires more power. The graphics card can also change via software into OC mode, which increases the base clock to 1,410 MHz and the boost clock to 1,650 MHz. The GDDR6 video memory clocks with very fast 7,000 MHz (effectively 14,000 MHz), which is almost 75 percent faster than the direct predecessor. The capacity of 8 GB VRAM allows gambling with 4K resolution or in Virtual Reality. As a cooler, a newly developed by ASUS radial fan design is used. The 80mm fan with durable dual ball bearing is IP5X certified to protect against dust ingress. A discreet LED strip lights the radiator cover.
