The ASRock H310M-HDV / M.2 mATX motherboard has a PCIe x16 slot connected to the chipset with a full 16 lanes. For additional plug-in cards, the board also has two PCIe 2.0 x1 slots. A maximum of 32 GB of RAM with a clock speed of up to 2,666 MHz can be accommodated in two DDR4 DIMM slots. Drives such as SSDs, HDDs and optical drives can be connected via four SATA 3.0 ports. A special feature of this motherboard is the M.2 slot, which is connected via PCIe 2.0 x4 and can thus transmit up to 20 Gb / s. It also supports the SATA protocol.

On the I / O panel, the ASRock H310M-HDV / M.2 provides two USB 3.0 slots and four USB 2.0 slots for connecting peripherals. Each DVI, HDMI and D-Sub connection for image reproduction via the integrated graphics unit of the processor is also located on the I / O panel.
