The B560M Pro4 in detail
The B560M Pro4 is a micro-ATX motherboard with an Intel B560 chipset and provides a PCIe 3.0 x16 (x4) slot as well as a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot for expansion cards. This is connected directly to the CPU with a total of 16 lanes. An additional PCIe x1 slot is connected to the chipset with PCIe 3.0. In order to be able to withstand the weight of heavy high-end graphics cards without any problems, ASRock designed and reinforced the PCIe 4.0 slot with metal.

random access memory
Up to 128 GB DDR4 memory can be operated in four DIMM slots in dual-channel mode. The board supports RAM speeds of 3,200 MHz natively, while overclocking enables the B560M Pro4 to operate RAM kits up to 4,800 MHz.

Drives
The B560M Pro4 offers a total of two M.2 slots for SSDs. The upper of the slots only works with the 11th generation CPUS and is directly connected to the CPU via PCIe 4.0. Since SSDs sometimes get very hot during operation, ASRock has equipped the slot with a cooler. The other M.2 slot is connected to the chipset via PCIe 3.0. Six SATA 6G connections are also available for additional SSDs, hard disks and optical drives.

USB, network and sound
With HDMI 2.0b and DisplayPort 1.4, the I / O panel provides two video outputs for image output via the processor's iGPU. A variety of connection options are available for gaming peripherals. These include four USB 3.0 ports (max. 5 Gbit / s) of type A and two USB 2.0 ports. The audio output is via three 3.5 mm jack plugs, which are connected to the onboard sound chip ALC897.

The B560M Pro4 impresses with its elegant design with silver-colored coolers. In combination with the integrated RGB lighting, the mainboard looks particularly good. With the ASRock Polychrome SYNC, the RGB lighting can be individualized and synchronized with other compatible products.
