The ASRock B460M-ITX / ac Mini-ITX mainboard has a PCIe-x16 slot, which is connected to the chipset with full 16 lanes. The M.2 slot connected via four PCIe 3.0 lanes supports the NVMe protocol and, in combination with corresponding M.2 SSDs, enables a data transfer rate of just under 4 GB / s. This is about eight times faster than an SSD connected via SATA 6G! Additional drives such as SSDs, HDDs and optical drives can be connected via four SATA 3.0 ports. A maximum of 64 GB of RAM with a clock rate of up to 2,933 MHz can be accommodated in two DDR4 DIMM slots.

The ASRock B460M-ITX / ac provides four USB 3.0 ports of type A and two USB 2.0 sockets on the I / O panel. A display port and HDMI connection for image display via the processor's integrated graphics unit are also located on the I / O panel.
