The ASRock B360M-ITX / AC Mini-ITX motherboard has a PCIe x16 slot connected to the chipset with a full 16 lanes. For plug-in and expansion cards, the board has a M.2 slot (Key E) with pre-installed WiFi / Bluetooth module. This is state of the art with WiFi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2.

The M.2 slot, which is connected via four PCIe 3.0 lanes, supports the NVMe protocol and, in combination with a corresponding M.2 SSD, enables a data transfer rate of almost 4 GB / s. This is about eight times faster than a SATA 6G connected SSD! Additional drives such as SSDs, HDDs and optical drives can be connected via four SATA 3.0 ports. A maximum of 32 GB of RAM with a clock speed of up to 2,666 MHz can be accommodated in two DDR4 DIMM slots.

The ASRock B360M-ITX / AC provides two USB 3.1 ports on the I / O panel. USB 3.1 ports are twice as fast as conventional USB 3.0 ports with maximum speeds of 10 Gbps! Other peripheral devices can be connected via two USB 3.0 slots.
