The ASRock A320M Pro4 is a motherboard in the micro ATX format and has graphics cards with a fast PCI Express 3.0 slot with full x16 connection. There is also a PCIe 2.0 slot with x2 connection as well as a PCIe x1 slot for other expansion cards. Up to 64 GB of DDR4 RAM take up the four RAM banks, with corresponding memory running at a maximum of 3,200 overclocked megahertz. The internal connection repertoire includes a header for USB 3.0 and two headers for USB 2.0 for 2 and 4 ports respectively.
Special features at a glance:
1x PCIe 3.0 x16 for high-end gaming graphics cards
7x USB 3.0 Type A & Type C + 1x Ultra M.2 Slot PCIe 3.0 x4
DDR4 memory up to 3,200 MHz (OC)
Modern UEFI BIOS including temperature monitoring
Such as SSDs and hard disks, the board is managed by four SATA 6G connectors (including RAID support), as well as two horizontal M.2 slots, one of which is connected to four PCI Express 3.0 lanes, thus delivering tremendously high speeds Of up to 32 Gbit / s. M.2 SSDs with a length of 42 to 80 mm can be used and the advanced NVM Express protocol, which has been especially optimized for highly parallelized data carrier accesses of modern PCIe SSDs, is supported.
A small highlight on the ASRock A320M Pro4 is also that a I / O panel on the back of the motherboard is a USB 3.0 port with type C socket. The new USB type C port is particularly thin and can be plugged in at both ends. USB 3.0 or USB 3.1 Gen 1 achieves maximum speeds of 5 Gbit / s per port.
On the mainboard rear panel, additional devices and components can be connected to the ASRock A320M Pro4 via USB 3.0 and 2.0, Gigabit LAN, universal PS / 2 or three audio jacks for sound. In addition, three monitor outputs (HDMI, VGA and DVI-D) are available for the display via an integrated APU graphics unit (optional).

CPU Cooler Compatibility Note on AMD Socket AM4:
Because AM4 (+), AM3 (+) or FM2 (+) predecessors AM4 (+), AM4 (+), AM4 (+) AMP connectors have to be matched to compatible AM4 mounting kits. CPU coolers attached directly to the motherboard's retention module are fully compatible.
