Unlocked CPU: Manual overclocking thanks to a free multiplier

In addition, all AMD Ryzen CPUs are "unlocked" and have - as usual from the "Black Editions" and "K" versions of earlier models - a free multiplier, so that overclockers can easily switch the high clock rates directly by hand in the BIOS or UEFI or by means of Software tools (e.g. AMD Ryzen Master) can further increase, provided a corresponding motherboard with an OC-capable chipset such as the AMD X570 and sufficient additional cooling.
Notes: For PCI-Express 4.0 and Precision Boost Overdrive, an AM4 motherboard with AMD X570 chipset is required. Older chipsets from the 300 and 400 series require a BIOS / UEFI update to operate this CPU.
