The graphics unit in the form of an integrated Radeon chip from the R7 series has 384 shader cores with a 1,029 MHz GPU clock. The graphics part of the APU team takes up almost half of the total chip area and has gained a lot of computing power compared to its predecessors. The underlying chip architecture is called Graphics Core Next (GCN) and is used both in the dedicated Radeon R-series and RX-series graphics cards and in the Xbox One and Playstation 4 game consoles.
